Where did my comments go?

I had comments in a few of my galleries at both the gallery level, as well as a few picture comments. On a few of my galleries, comments have suddenly disappeared. On at least one other gallery, which is an older gallery, the comments have remained. In all galleries, comments ARE enabled. Like I said, there WERE comments, but now I'm not seeing them. One of the galleries where the comments disappeared is my Vacation->Yellowstone gallery. Any ideas?

Yeah, how come I can't see 'em?

Interesting. I see them in a different browser (IE). In firefox I still don't see them. It's possible I hid comments in the gallery for myself. But apparently there's no button to turn them back on.

Possibly related, I have a second problem now. I used to see only categories on my home page. Now I have all my galleries listed on my home page instead which is ugly. How come the Customize Homepage dropdown doesn't have a checkbox for Categories?
