I agree. the B&W really highlights the composition.

the strong, but simple lines and tones in this one are strong enough to support the image without color so why not? Excellent. I know those (damselflies, I think) are very active, but this image conveys peace and serenity.

I've tonnes of dragonflies shots in colour and realised this particular one should stands out in B/W, and indeed it does. Thank you.

its the colour that makes the different bugs stand out.
