I often find the flattened perspective of long lenses can bring a surreal aspect to a mundane object.

During a walk in the woods I brought my 180mm f2.8 manual Zuiko lens. On the digital body it becomes a 360mm f2.8 lens and really squashes the perspective. I kind of like it.



Handheld 1/400th @ f4 probably or maybe wide open, I forget.

Lovely shot. The dark blue of the sky sets off the leaves nicely.
