    I like the optimistic miniature, but does it deserve so much drab entombing?

    Maybe, if you had some of that buttery light licking a tongue into the hole? Maybe the edge of the hole sharp, and some of the earthy patterns in the surface contrasty and sharp?

    You got something, I think, but not it all?

    Thanks Neil, I was thinking the same thing about the whole being sharp. Im going back sometime this week to do a re-shoot of it.
