    I like the mono-chrome aspects of this, and the composition is great. I just wish there was a bit more separation on the blades in the upper left (don't know if that's possible from any angle, though). I can tell that there is a slight variance in the blacks, but it is really hard to pick up, at least on my monitor.

    That's the best I could squeeze out exposure wise. Hand-held 1/4 sec ~ ISO 6400 ~ f/4

    Howdy Randy,

    Love the Composition and the beautiful color of the night sky.

    Also, the Stars and the Windmill really pull out all the stops on this one,

    very nicely done.

    Windmills are so beautiful at night -- I agree the stars add to this photo.

    Quite honestly, I didn't even notice the stars while shooting this. After composing the shot, all my attention went to holding the camera still for the long exposure, well, long for hand-held.
