Image Size Display - FF vs IE 8

Hello,
It appears that on my computer that Internet Explorer 8 displays my Smugmug images significantly larger than with Moxilla FireFox 3.5.5.
For example, compare the main images in the following links with IE 8 and FireFox:

Do you also see a difference in size and sharpness of the images? On my computer the images in FF are much sharper than IE.
Calibrating Photoshop to my computer and comparing, it seems that FireFox displays the correct size (e.g., same as with Photoshop) and IE for some reason showing a bigger size. Consequently, the photo sharpness is noticeably decreased with IE compared to FireFox.
So, it seems that FireFox is displaying the proper size and image sharpness from what I'd expect with Photoshop; IE is not.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

When you're comparing the browsers you need to make sure that the useable space in the browser window is the same in each. Don't use the outside perimeter of the window because each browser may be using a different amount of space for toolbars, etc.

IE8 at least (not sure about IE7 or IE6) has a magnifying "feature" enabled by a little magnifying-glass-icon-button in the lower right corner. I had inadvertently set this to 110%. Resetting to 100% solved the issue. Lesson learned. IE users beware!
