Zoned out

I got my Zuiko 25mm f2.8 prime pancake lens on Saturday afternoon. I can't believe how much better it is under low light conditions than my kit lenses---I was shocked at the difference and quite happy. "Look Ma, no flash!"
I will be venturing out for my street shots with this lens:ivar .
This is was my test run.
The "stache" was a bonus:)--he had it taped to his face all day--cost him a quarter, and well worth it in my opinion.

    Thank you Nir.
I love his expression too--makes me wonder what he was watching on tv. I also really like his little sister in the background (always in the background) because he can never quite shake her, she's always thererolleyes1.gif .

I appreciate you looking and commenting.

With that look I was sure he was watching Santa coming down the chimney or something...

Sorry I ruined the shot for you.
But had it been Santa, I would have titled it something else. Here he was totally zoned out on the boob tube.
She is too--almost hypnotized--which is a little scary.

It's hard for me not to divulge the story--need to work on that.

ha! He paid for the mustache with his own quarter--but now that you mention it, it would have made for a funny SP.

    Great pictures, Liz! thumb.gif

Wow! #2 is one of the nicest I've seen (TV or no TV :D )

I think that's one of the nicest of yours I've seen! bowdown.gif

…mmm, although I think that as it's all happening in the right ½ of the frame, I'd have been tempted to crop; er, um… something along the lines of this (if you wish, I'll remove it…):

Thank you much Will. The lens made a huge difference I think.
I like your cropped version. I have much to learn about cropping, I know my shots will improve when I learn to do it properly, so thank you for that.
