I was able to spend a couple of days with Kdog (Joel) & BeachBill this past fall in Zion NP.

What a great time I had with these guys as we tromped our way through Zion...

Here are some snaps, if you have been there then you know how hard it is to compose and cover dynamic range. If you haven't gone, then you wont know how much of an injustice I have presented.:D

nothing special, but I like'em

I get kind of lost in that first shot- not sure what the focus point is on that one.

Really like the three waterfall shots though. clap.gif

    Nice shots, Aaron!

I really like the sky in numero 6 and I like number 7, except you've got no sky there. Time to composite! mwink.gif

    Great shots, my friend!! clap.gif

So that's what you were doing while Bill and I hiked up to Upper Emerald Pool. You were shooting the falls. Great job! Say, do I detect a little HDR action in there? mwink.gif

    Cheers,

Really cool takes on the Emerald Pools - I was there for about 15 minutes on my way from Grand Teton to Death Valley - not nearly enough time to do it justice, and the water level was really low and there were no fall colors.

Anyway you're really fortunate to be so close to Zion (and Bryce Canyon, and Death Valley), so I'm glad to see you're taking advantage of it.

And there's still plenty of time to be officially banned, just be yourself and it'll happen eventually :D
