I ordered this lens four months ago and I finally got it last week. I took these in the garden, full frame birds are now possible.

Excellent shots Shay and congrats on the new glass. I know what you mean when you say the extra reach makes a big difference. Have you tried any TCs on it yet?

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks Harry. I don't think I will try an extender on it. The 20d only autofocuses at 5.6. I could get a kenko extender that still allows the 20d to autofocus but I don't think I would get the light here to shoot at f8 and a high enough speed to get sharp shots.
