Do You archive ........... your movie DVD's

Do you archive your movies (purchased DVD's) and if so what software are your using. I have lots of movies that I would like to stop running thru a DVD player and still watch, as most are educational as well as entertaining......but I collect movies .
So I am needing to know how to archive on an external harddrive all of my movies.

This is the software I use to rip my DVDs and load them up on my Netbook to watch on long flights.

It should be localized (multi-lingual). The version I downloaded years ago and never upgraded was in English so, even though it's now a France Web server, it should still have an English version (unless a totally new team took over the project).

I'll second that. I'm slowly starting to use that myself. Tired of storing movies in plain sight, and also planning an Apple TV purchase soon. Handbrake's built-in preset for Apple TV makes that easy. So I'm not so much archiving my movies with Handbrake. Rather the Handbrake output will be what I use, and the DVD will thus become the archive.
