even if it isn't a technically perfect photo, our heavyweight is thrilled with this capture.
Wanted to share and say thank you to all of the sports shooters that offer C&C. I have learned so much from all of you.

    Wow, that is a lot of weight to lift in a crouched position like that! What lens did you use and how far away were you may I ask?

    I am sitting 8-10 feet from the edge of the mat.
    I am using 85mm 1.8f

    for our home gym 800 iso with 1/250 seems to work best. no flash

    If only you were to the right a bit more to capture there faces, easier said then done. Other then that it is a nice shot.

    Oh if only you could easily move around during a wrestling match.

    I shoot for the Maroon and Gold team and position myself to the side of the scoring table facing their chair line up. That has proven to be the best place to get a shot of them with their arm raised.

    My goal is to get my 7D and then give my 20D and 50mm combo to my daughter and have her on the other side of the mat.
