It was -20* not adding in the windchill, but the sunset was beautiful.

Beautiful shot! Too cold for me... We were all happy to be out of our deep freeze of +20F.

Is that -20F or -20C? Not that it matters; they're both WAY too cold for me.

    Beautiful shot, too.

    Hi,

It was -20F -- and it was cold :D but well worth it. It's just going out in it that's the hardest part.

    Thank you for commenting.

Thank you Shawn -- I'm a sucker for those lonely tree shots too :D

Where this was taken it's full of Bur Oak trees and when you can find them standing alone it's beautiful.

    Howdy Mary,

Really love the nice warm tones and colors, and very nice

composition with the Snow, and the Tree.

Looks like your Trek out was very well rewarded.
    Take care,

    Howdy Craig --

Yeah that cold trek out did pay off ok. I was hoping for a red sunset, but I'll settle for a pink one :D

Wonderful shot, Mary. I love how the reflective snow picks up the subtle sky colors. Good job on exposure.

    Take care,

    Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Hi Tom -

The snow is wonderful for picking up the colors of the sky. That's one thing I love about snow.

Thank you for your nice comments. I've been trying to work on my exposure. Snow is so hard for me to work with sometimes.
