A very common species in the D/FW area. This one was caught in a classroom at my school. I took it and put it in a more natural environment for some pics then I let it go. I used the good ole macro lens for these. I stopped down to anywhere between F14 and F20, upped the ISO and turned on the flash for these. BTW, this is an invasive species but one that has not caused too many problems of which I know. In fact, they are very good insectivores.

Thanks Ric. His green cousin is the one that sells insurance. This guy is apparently an independent pest controller. :D

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
