Stange Data Statistics From Statcounter

Anybody know why today I would be getting one or two hits to the same gallery from isp's all over the world? The gallery is a girls basketball game from last year and the hits have been coming from Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Croatia, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Canada and numerous sites from around the USA. Anybody else experience this?

Its possible that someone posted a link to the photo on Facebook, or a forum? We have no way to track it. Statcounter should offer a referrer link to tell you where the link is at.
