This is one of those times when the title becomes quite confusing for me....It looks like she's coughing or yawning headscratch.gifscratchne_nau.gif

I like the image, I think she is yawning though, so the title threw me.

I agree. It might have been a highly charged scene, but the emotion doesn't come across. A better title might be "Ennui," which would also cover the woman on the right who's not looking at her partner. If it were mine, I would crop it into a 3x2 as there's nothing happening across the bottom at all.

I like the composition a lot. Backfocused? I agree about the emotional ambiguity.
    If not now, when?

She looks unhappy to me. But she could also be yawning.

Definitely better without a title. But I bet you knew that.

"Backfocused" was an unfamiliar term to me, so I looked it up. A thread on the photo.net Nikon forum describes it as a result of mechanical failure of the camera. How are you using the term? Focussing on the wall behind the subject?

The subject in the photo could be doing anything from suppressing a sneeze to emotionally reacting to unpleasant news. The title, though, directs us to a verdict of reacting to bad news.

Perhaps this makes a case for choosing a title that lets the viewer decide what's going on.

Perhaps the lady is on her way to visit her dentist…

    …so the title might be:

    "You Can't Take The Tooth!"

I don't really get the shot, but I think the composition is right for the image. The almost dead space at the bottom helps balance the scene above. At least for me.

    Wil, you crack me up!

The title was a little experiment. Indeed, she is just yawning. But it looks to me
And to a few people who saw it before I posted it, that she is crying. As you know, I try to avoid titles. But I figured, 'let's do a little experiment and see what happens. What I'll never know, of course, is what would have happened had our first post not guessed correctly and influenced people.

I'll stand by the composition. And, Rutt, I don't think it's back focused, but I'll look again.
