    We have a huge balloon fiesta here every Sept. but there's no place near water to get a shot like that one! Fantastic.

    What time of year does this happen?ne_nau.gif I live in NKY and I guess I missed this last year!:(:

    The event happens on the Saturday before Thanksgiving in Eden Park. Parking is terrible, best to arrive at 4, even earlier if you want to find a photo spot around the pond. I barely found a spot this past year!

    Thanks to everyone else for their kudos!

    I must confess, I had to mirror the top half in order to eliminate some unsightly graphics on the bottom of the pond. The mirror line wasn't perfectly straight due to the shape of the edge of the pond on the far side so it wasn't easy. I also darken the bottom half to add a little moe realism back in and make the overall composition a little more dynamic.

    FYI, there is a new mini challenge going on right now in the "Challenges" forum--the theme is Water--I think your image fitst he bill beautifully.

    You can enter one to three images.
