So - can this be done to allow iphone to see all the nifty flash-encoding on various smug sites?

That will be for someone else to decide. But the key statement is

"The software is still in a very early stage, with Scheider noting in his browser compatibility table that it doesn't work at all in the Opera browser, and in Safari, colour transformation currently does not work. He also hasn't yet written any documentation on how to implement it,"

I will make sure our team see this and keeps it on the radar.

Yeah - i read that. Since the iPhone does not come with Opera that's not too big of a deal (yet) - and I am not sure color management on the iPhone's Safari browser is a great concern (though certainly colors need to be somewhat correct).

Whether or not Adobe/Apple get things worked out for flash or this comes first - either way it could be a good thing.

    Thanks for considering...
