Hi all,
Been playing around a little with the free textures on picnik plus the other editing tools, it's too much fun.
As you can see they are totally different from each other, but do they work or am I deceiving myself?

Shot in RAW mode fist BTW--Love this stuff--glad I'm able to do it now.

What fun, so many ways to finish a photo. All worthy of the shot. 2 is my favorite, something about her eyes draws me to that one.
I also wanted to comment on how much I LOVE your photo in the
    texture challenge, very very sensual.thumb.gif

    Really nice stuff, Liz!
    1. Haven't sold myself on textures like this, so no comment. Looks well done though.
    2. Really love her face. Can you mask or tone down the effect on her arm that blows out?
    3. Very nicely done. Is she wondering when you'll be tired of having her model?

I like the first one above the others... She looks Taiwanese to me, is she?

    Thank you Trudy:)
I appreciate your commetns, especially about textures since I've been doing them for about a month--they are addicting. It's amazing how they can completely change a photograph.

    Andrew,

    1. I know what you mean about textures, I'm trying to achieve a vintage effect, but can't seem to get there just yet. Still trying.

    2. I will try and fix the blown arm--how did I miss thatheadscratch.gif ? I have a tendency to be oblivious to details.

    3. Thanks--I like the way that turned out so much myself and no she's not getting tired yet--whew!!! it's a good thing too, otherwise I'd have to practice on myself and you'd have to deal with my self-portraits insteadrolleyes1.gif .

    Thanks for looking and commenting.
