I took this photo a few days ago and liked the way her eyes lit up when she was at full attention.

    It is a nice pose, but the highlights are a bit hot. If shot in raw you could bring down the exposure some and it would give you more detail in her face and make those eyes light up more.

    Thanks I tried editing it. I'm still trying to get used to Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and have a tendency to get carried away at times. I appreciate the critique.

    The problem with blown highlights is that you usually can't recover the details once they are blown.

    When you shoot you want to expose to the right but you want to avoid spikes on the far right of the histogram.
