Very nice. Would a 70-200 2.8 IS be too far away to get these kind of shots? Were you in the stands or on the field? Once again, great shots, very sharp.

These were shot with a 400mm 2.8 on a 1D with a 1.3x crop factor so a 70-200 will be a little to short. But if you throw a 1.4x TC on it you should be able to get pretty close since you have a 1.6x crop body giving you a 340mm equivalent to my 1.3x crop factor. And these were shot through the fence around the fields at the Pirates training complex. So I was practically on the field minus the fence in front of me.
