CLS just for fun
So just took out a camera and started shooting for kick and giggles. Used a 35mm f/1.8 and a SB-600. Messed around with CLS and different positions of lighting.
1 strobe photography is definitely harder than it looks and i had to do a lot of guessing when trying to find the power setting or placement of the light, but thought i got some decent results. Also I struggled with white balance when using the speed light with other tungsten lighting...might consider buying some gels and see how that goes. I did discover my new favorite feature, PRE white balance. took the guess work out of WB and was really accurate.
