Hey i don't know if this is the right section to ask this, but I'm looking for a fair priced waterproof housing to buy for my Nikon so i can take some wakeboard and surfing shots up close! and maybe use it for some landscape shots sometime!
I saw ones that are $1200 and some that are around $350

Exactly which Nikon camera and what lenses would you need to use with it? (Housings are often extremely specific to a particular body.)
Even the best housings can fail. Is this endeavor worth your risking possible permanent damage to the camera and lens?
