I can understand why you are happy with the results: it is a wonderful capture.

I like the sky and the color of the water. There is a sense of complete engagement of the mother and child to the exclusion of all else in the world. This is reinforced with the presence of the cruise ship and the sense of the vastness of the ocean.

I think one change will make it better, maybe two.

IMHO, the ship in the upper right corner should be cloned out.

Do you think it would had to the feeling if you made the colors more dramatic?

By the way, VERY GOOD PICTURE! wings.gif

Awesome catch.clap.gif I am with Mr Quiet in thinking it would look better w/o the ship(s). The one on the left is the what catches my eye first....

Unfortunately, I don't think THIS shot would have waited for the ship(s) to clear the area.....

thanks everyone for your feedback and positive comments, I was hoping I wouldn't be the only person really happy with this shot!
Fireguy and Mr Quiet I'll definitely give some cloning a go and yes its a container ship so it was in no hurry to remove itself from my capture!
