A friend of mine who is a Graphic Designer made me this logo. What do you think?

Imho, it looks very dated. I wish I had something positive to say, but this just isn't doing it for me ne_nau.gif

Utterly impractical as a website banner or even in a conventional letterhead - too high.

This has all the hallmarks of an amateur design, with no appreciation of the use of graphical design in publishing, but I could be wrong! The space between the F and the R is another giveaway. Could be used by Santa Claus, I suppose. mwink.gif

Agree with the previous posters. The film strip looks like stock art, and worse, is out dated by a decade or more. You don't want your prospective customers to think that of your work or you. The mixed fonts are confusing, and as a banner or on a business card, have too much white space. Advertising needs white space - logos, banners and cards don't.

EDIT: Found it. Google up "film strip stock art" in Google Images, moderate filtering and all file types, and you'll find this on page four.

Sorry. Doesn't work on many levels. You might be looking more towards a tighter design that is more flexible.

On reflection, there's not the slightest possibility this was designed by an experienced professional. It's shocking! eek7.gif

This screams amateur to me. If someone handed me a card containing this logo I wouldn't even bother to look at that individual's work product or web site.

I thought the thread was about F Claus's logo and that the interloper was looking for feedback on his business card - which would be better handled in its own thread.

Pardon me! And as a cowboy, I've got to realise not all posters (nor moderators) have a hide as thick as mine. I consider myself thoroughly rebuked! :nono

Most times it is suggested to make a logo that'll be recognizable even tiny, perhaps the size of a dime.

..this would not work well tiny.
