Frosty North Dakota Morning

Today we woke up to a beautiful morning. As soon as the sun came out I hurried to get out before it melted the frost or the wind blew it all off. Still learning how to take photos after a fog. The sky is always changing from moment to moment so getting a good sky in a photo is hard for me to do.

Hope you enjoy a ND frosty day :D

1. -- My trip heading out. Taken through the car window. So sorry about any dirty marks left uncloned. In town was beautiful, but once you get along the river and out in the country it's twice as beautiful. This was taken in MN after crossing the ND/MN bridge, but up ahead I'll be crossing in ND again.

3. -- Power line -- I saw a few Rural Electric trucks out where I was, but I don't know if any power was lost.

All the wires were covered like this which made it so pretty -- lucky we didn't have any ice tho with it.

Thank you for looking and commenting :D

    Howdy Mary,

Looks like it was a beautiful day to be out, love that Blue Sky.

Everything looks so clean and crisp.

The last image is definitely my favorite of the Series, any History
    there?

Looks like it will be a neat place to investigate.

    Very nicely done!!
    Take care,

    Craig

    Hey Mary,

Thanks for giving us a peek at the world you're living in. I guess it's a case of wanting what you don't have....or maybe just looking for a change.....but I'll trade you a week in Florida for a week of ND.

    Take care,

    Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Hi Craig --

Winter does have that clean and crisp look to it especially when there's frost.

I don't know the history of the Wild Rose Cemetery. My drives will take me by there many time, but I've never stopped to take a stroll through it. It sits outside of a small town -- Georgetown, MN. This summer I'll have to take walk in there and look around.

Thanks for looking Craig and for your comments :D

    Howdy Randy --

The Red River is so pretty in the winter time. That dark murky water really sticks out next to the white snow.

Thanks for looking and your comments :D

    Hi Tom...

I would gladly change places with you for a week :D I'd love to be in Florida right now basking in the warm air and running my toes through the sand....that would be heaven to me wings.gif

I know what you mean tho.....looking for a change always seems to happen during a season that seems to drag on to long or like you mentioned....wanting something you don't have.

ND can get a bum-rap sometimes, but it's a beautiful state. I'm happy you enjoyed the peak into my world :D
