John's Background Switcher

I've been using John's Background Switcher to change my Windows desktop wallpaper. It pulls my photos from SmugMug and creates a nice background display. For the last few days, however, I'm getting an SSL error when the application calls the SmugMug API. Looks like something to do with an invalid certificate.

I've touched base with the developer, and he says he's calling https://api.smugmug.com/services/api/rest/1.2.1/. Any ideas what might be going on here? I am behind a corporate firewall, but I've had no problems with this until the last couple of days. I've also configured the correct proxy from within the application.

Any luck with this? I've also been experiencing issues, seemingly since last night (might be longer - not quite sure when it started).

I am using the latest version. The actual error I get is "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." I know that's nothing specific to Smug, but that's what might happen if it can't reach the pics...

I know - not enough specifics. But I thought I'd throw this out there in case.

It didn't do that before, and I can access smug stuff just fine using other methods. ne_nau.gif Did maybe the API or something changed recently?

I was seeing that "Object" error last night as well. I have no idea what's going on, and there seems to be no related activity on the JBS forum:

Looks like SmugMug tweaked their API and broke JSB. He's posted a new version:
