i have a question for the Macro Masters ..Has anyone tried HDR macro photgraphy with any subjects..if so how has it turned out..and how much PS editing you have to do...I just wanna see how these turn out being so small. as in subjects.

never tried, might be a problem if the subject moves:D

might work with a man made mettalic shiny subject though

Never even thought of that possiblity. Would be cool to see how that turns out.

Never tried it. Generally, when people combine images in macro work, it is to get more depth of field, not more dynamic range. However, I can image cases where HDR might help.

Not really HDR but have done some rescues on photos with exposure problems by using HDR to combine a couple of different RAW conversions at different exposure levels. As commented above I normally reserve multiple shots for focus stacks, panoramas or 3-D pairs.
