Suggestion

Im just recently got into flash photography
im shooting a fashion tonight for to help my school fundraise
i have 2 flashs a canon 430ex and a 380ex
the 380 dosnt work off camera with my flash triggers for some reason

so what do you think i should do..just use one flash on camera on like 1/2 power or what?
anything will help

    The surest thing is to just use the single flash on the camera but I do recommend an indirect flash using a modifier of some sort.

    The easiest is to bounce the flash off the ceiling and use a fill card. As long as you don't have terribly high ceilings it works pretty well.

    I sometimes just use an index card attached to the flash with a rubber band. Don't be afraid to bend the card back if shooting very close to the subject.

    i ended up just using my 430ex on the hot shoe of my camera
