I took this snap in Antibes in the South of France.

I like it but feel it lacks something...maybe a specific subject, or focal point.

Any comments or thoughts on how to improve it?

Thanks
Eddie

Maybe there is more in the sky and clouds to be drawn out? headscratch.gif

Hi Eddie and welcome! This is a beautiful scene, I agree, and you did well in catching the reflection and bringing out the lush colors. I see what you're going for here but I agree, t here's something missing that pushes this from a great photo to an excellent one. For starters, the center composition might be part of it.

While it can work sometimes, in this case I don't know which part of the image is supposed to be pulling me the most. The eye stops right in the middle and that's that. It could go up or down to the sky other water, or even to the left or the right. It's promising, but nothing compelling enough.

Regardless, thanks for sharing this and we hope to see more! This is a great scene. thumb.gif
