My shoes got stuck in the mud and I had to step out of them and get them loose with my hands...... Shot the pic. before I got them out.......

    leaforte......We have so much rain in the Phoenix area right now.. mud is all I got .....As they said about the Mississippi ....It is to thick to drink and to thin to plow.... Thanks for looking and commenting...... :Dazzaro

    Honestly, I think "they" first used that quote about the Colorado...just what I remember from college....but what a GREAT quote about the silting and erosion that is choking the big rivers. Sentiment is killing, and way understood. Lets see some delta pics...land disappearing.

    I have hiked the Grand Canyon several times... We hiked along the Colorado for 6 days on one trip. The Colorado was so muddy it clogged the water purifier on the first try.....I used iodine tablets for the rest of the trip....I knew it was safe, but it was still hard to drink it....... azzaro
