    I'm a noob, never really been to Art showings like this so I have a few questions that I think might keep me from looking like the oddball in the room.

    I live in Arizona and would really like to show up to this event.

    Now for my questions:

    1) What would be proper attire for attendance.

    2) Cameras allowed? I would be bring a D5000 with a 35mm F1.8

    3) Entry fee?

    I hope you guys understand, I just don't want to look like a fool. I'm barely getting my feet wet with photography, I think attending would give me learning opportunities. See what others see through their viewfinder.

    I've always enjoyed your photos of the Southwest (& Acadia for that matter!!)

    I might be heading out your way in September. My parents are looking for a scenic vacation spot and I suggested Arizona/Utah or the Pacific Northwest (I'll start a separate thread on that when I decide which one). I haven't been on a vacation with them in 20 years. Will probably put a dent in my plans for attending the DGrin shootout, but they have already been to the Grand Tetons/Yellowstone.
