As promised. Here is a color version of my exploration last Saturday. Excluding my sunflower photos (link).

Here we have this lovely old yellow house again.

I found many isolated trees in fields on this exploration and this made for a good sunset shot.

Good ol' fashioned rural sunset.

I couldn't have asked for a better subject to catch the last bit of this amazing sunset. I was lucky to find this old Massey Ferguson tractor in a field. Too add a cherry on top of the icing, a little bird flew in and landed on the steering wheel as I was taken this shot. At first it was bouncing around too quickly to get a good shot, never mind 3 exposures for HDR. To my luck, it stayed almost perfectly still for the 3 shots then flew away.

Enjoy!

Really love the way the composition of #1 makes my eyes scan the image. The isolation of the exposures are wonderful!

All of these are excellent. I'd pick the tractor as my favorite. Your best composition at the best light!

A very nice set...thumb.gif I particularly like the first and last photos. The barb wire does a nice job of leading and lending a secondary frame to the frame. I really like the placement of the tractor with the color bursting above it. I'm originally from Western Ky and find the rural setting desperately dull but you have a nice eye for such a setting. clap.gif
