Spent the morning at Arlington National Cemetery (always a moving experience) and came back with a few possibilities. Would like to hear your thoughts.

#2 is my fav as well. It would be good if you could light the facing side of the tomb so we can read it. Just a thought.

    Great job!

    1. 90% true that from the front is better than from the back,
    2. this is a very strong composition and a very powerful subject, so it's in the 10%,
    3. but this is very nice, but maybe the same nice treatment and great eye for composition + being able to see the face would have been over-the-top great.

Robert Capa said, "If your pictures aren't good enough, you're not close enough." I'd add, "Get in front." These are good enough, so they don't need Capa or my advice.
    If not now, when?
