I don't really understand RSS, although I use it some in Safari.

My question is: why do my galleries get updated all the time when I've done nothing to them? What's updating? It kinda undermines the usefulness of RSS, since I'd like to be able to tell family that they can see new pics by checking whether the gallery's been updated, but with it updating all by itself all the time, that doesn't work so well.

Is that just how it is? Or is there something that I can do about it?

    Is there a guide to what we can do with RSS?
