Like i was instructed following these steps:
https://secure.smugmug.com/help/professional-accounts

I just bought the domain name from godaddy.com, went into my settings and clicked change domain. I entered my domain (www.mlech.com) and this is the message I got:

That hostname doesn't resolve to SmugMug's CNAME (domains.smugmug.com). See our help section on custom hostnames.

What am i doing wrong?

I have the domain www.mlech.com , now I want to change my current smugmug domain to this.

thanks.

    thanks.
You need to set custom host records at GoDaddy so that your domain points to your SmugMug account. We've got instructions specific to GoDaddy here: http://wiki.smugmug.net/display/SmugMug/GoDaddy+CNAME+Setup.

I looked up your domain and it's not set up correctly. You need these host records:

    @ A record pointing to 208.79.45.23
www CNAME record pointing to domains.smugmug.com

Make sure you only have one @ A record.

Once you've set that up and the nameservers have updated you can add your domain to your SmugMug Control Panel>Settings. It will not accept your domain name until the nameservers have updated.

If you need help or want us to set it up for you please write to the help desk: http://www.smugmug.com/help/emailreal.
