Nicely seen and captured. I don't remember seeing a flag pole quite like this one....except maybe on a ship. Do you remember what that sign in front of the pole may have said?

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.
I too like the simplicity in this photo. It makes the flags really stand out. How the horizon falls lower in the photo instead of level or higher is really neat. I've never thought about something like that before in a photo till I saw this one.

Thanks very much for the very kind reply, the rocks were a dark grey, I think they are a granite type.
