    Hi is this one still available? Even though I saw it listed on Rockwell's site at one of the 10 worst Nikon lenses of all time, I could still use just a "point and shoot" kind of lens for my D700 for pictures of the family from time to time. It can't be worse than the kit lens that came with my D70 years ago, can it?

    Actually, the 24-120 is a very capable lens. The non-VR one was not very good but the VR version is much improved. It is still available. Thank you for asking.
