Good Evening Folks,
I was testing the ole MK3 and the 50 1.8 ll earlier tonight, and thought I would kill (hopefully) 2 birds with 1 stone :wink I shot this pie or fish server that was purchased at a yard sale, some 40 yrs ago. It is 12'' long, and appears to be made of gold. It is not magnetic, and has not tarnished in all that time. The front appears to have angels on it. On the back is the word ITALIA. I was hoping that someone in our viewing audience might recognize or possibly know what it is for sure. I have taken it to 2 different antiques dealers, and neither can confirm (without testing) that it is gold, nor how old it is, but for a small fee (an arm & a leg) they could send it out to 'their' experts. If anyone has any information on this, I would greatly appreciate it
Thank you :thumb
Have a good evening

Take it to a jeweler they will know if it's gold

Thanks for your suggestion I should have mentioned that I did take it to 2 different jewelry stores as well at the local mall and they both said they would have to send it out. If it is really gold, and an antique per say, I don't want to let it out of my site. Talk to you soon. Thanks again.
Have a good evening

Thank you very much I looked on Evil Bay and on a few other places, but couldn't find anything at all. That sure looks like, even though the picture is small. Thanks again.
Have a good day

Thanks for your suggestion As a matter of fact there are a couple of Museums in the Baltimore area. However, I believe Gnome hit the nail on the head with his link. Though the picture is small, it does resemble what I have. Thanks again.
Have a good afternoon
