    I'm not a fan of hockey, but these are good enough pics that I enjoyed looking at them. All of the strobes really made the uniform colors pop. Well done sir.

    I too like the non action ones. Especially # 4. There seem to be some small flares in some of the pics. Did you shoot through the plexiglass?

    Nope, off the bench. Foil lined ceiling, 4 speedlights, the light is bouncing all over the place in there...

    How do you like the 300mm f2.8? I'm going to be shooting NBA games and find the 400 too long and the 70- 200 f2.8 good for most of the court but not great for the opposite net.headscratch.gif

    300 is a great lens. Good for everything but the corners in Hockey (need to crop). I know a few that use the 70-200 on the D3 and a 300 on the D300 for the other end.
