#3 for me, too, though I also think #4 is interesting. The reflections in #1 are distracting, and the composition in #2 doesn't excite me.

#3 has great possiblities. I'd go back and all kind of different shots (step back some, different angle, different time of day, etc.) and see what other views I could come up with. Good luck! I'm envious, that's a great door.

3 here too, 1 and 4 aren't doing anything for me. I think 2 would work if you could get really low and get the whole door in the frame

The problem with doing much more with the two doors is that they are about 6 feet or less from the street. A pretty busy street. I could probably get some more access at night when things in downtown Portland die down a bit. Probably worth while.

Not digging #3 mainly because I am not a big fan of this type of "HDR-looking" processing. I also feel like the lighting is just too flat. I would keep shooting, if I were you.

I'm really curious to see what #3 would look like at night. A little creepy night lighting with the green stuff growing on the steps....could be interesting. Hope to see some examples.

I really like the door in #3 with all of the stone work, moss, and the wood. Needs something though, maybe comp or better, more interesting light?

I vote 2 and 4...

2 is very serious/forboding/intimidating...? you are a tiny person and that door means business. I know everyone has these hangups about centered images, which 90% of the time is me also , but I really feel that the centered composition is perfect here

4 - just really interesting and abstract, and the lines and colors work well
