Saguaro - Extreme Sky = Rich Warm Color

Here are a few more from our outing last weekend. I thought the saguaro was opening his arms to take in the sun's rays after all the rain. The sunset with clouds was amazing in color - shifting as it got later. The second has too much camera flare but I did like the rich warmth. C&C appreciated!

Hi Eia, nice series - I especially like the clouds in #3.

    Cheers, Richard.

You had good sky karma! Wonderful skies in all of them. You are right about the richness of the shots, especially in the first one. The desert has such deep colors right after the rains.

Thanks for your comment Christina. It's amazing how detrimental the storms are and leaves such devastation in some areas - but beauty in the natural desert.

I love looking at well-done desert pics, and this is a well-done series. I scrolled through, thinking, "Nice... nice... nice..." THen I got to #4 and stopped dead. That one is more than nice; it's my favorite of the series, and is more than worthy of inclusion on a desert calendar.
What I said when I saw the Grand Canyon for the first time: "The wide ain't wide enough and the zoom don't zoom enough!"

I love how 1 has the flare in the direction of the nicely lit cactus.
Street & Portrait because of the people. Landscape because it's pretty.
Disappointed with AF of Tamron 28-75 2.8, me less happy.
