Will I lose SEO (google indexing)?

In the lightbox view, there is an option to nuke the "Hide Info" text. I want to remove this text, but if I do so, will I lose any indexing from Googles search engines (SEO) by those keywords? I wonder if google reads those and it helps with search results.
