imac G5 stock ram configuration.

I have a friend that is looking to buy an imac G5. He is a home user so I don't think he will need any ram upgrades right away, but I know the new ones come with 512mb of ram, but I don't know if it comes with one 512 or two 256 chips. Does anyone know? He is specifically looking at the 17" imac combo drive. :ear
