Hello, I'm trying to set up the CNAME. Unfortunately there is no tutorial for web.com hosting. But regardless I think I am in the right place. I don't know which info goes where. So I'll simulate the dialog box for you, below. The __________ indicate text boxes that need to be filled in.
Type: CNAME
Name: ________________.acornstudios.ifo
Resolves To:_________________ (Domain or subdomain in example.com format)
Time To Live: (Drop Down): 30 Min/1 Day/1 Hour/1 Week/
In the help blurb it says:
EDIT
Okay, 20 minutes later. I think I figured it out. But its not working. I know I got all the settings right, but I noticed that at the bottom it says:
acornstudios.info NS ns3.hosting4u.net 1 day
acornstudios.info NS ns2.hosting4u.net 1 day
acornstudios.info NS ns3.hosting4u.net 1 day
So, my guess is that the name servers are somewhere else. Anybody know how to get them over to web.com?

In the help blurb it says:
CNAME record A CNAME record allows you to set up a subdomain and point it to your original domain or to a different domain or subdomain entirely. Both domains (hostnames) point to the IP address to which the target domain hostname is assigned (via its A record). To point a subdomain to an IP address, use an A record.

You need this:
Type: CNAME
Name: ______www______.acornstudios.ifo
Resolves To:_domains.smugmug.com_ (Domain or subdomain in example.com format)
Type: ARecord (if they allow it)
Name: _(blank, @, or whatever they allow)_.acornstudios.ifo
Resolves To:__208.79.45.23__ (Domain or subdomain in example.com format)
For the A record, it really just depends on what the domain host allows. GoDaddy and most other domain hosts use the @ sign to designate an empty name. There are some others that allow you to save a blank field. It just depends on how they do it.
