    I like the concept, but the image looks unbalanced to me. I'd like to see it done with the board at about a 45 degree angle instead of the closer to a 90 degree angle. This would allow some foreground and for some of the pieces to be out-of-focus.

    Morning Francis,

    Interesting image, love the Chess Set,

    I have looked in at this image several times, and couldn't figure out
    what was bothering me, and I think that Tony is on to something, not
    sure about the exact angle, but maybe where you have an uninterrupted
    angle to the King and then the other pieces could be out of focus some to draw your eye more to him.

    Really neat idea, I for one will be interested to see what you come up with.
