I like the shot but with these closeup headshots, imho you have to nail focus on the eyes even if you miss everything else.. They are touch soft.

+1 + I think the orange background is a bit distracting, I'd try to desaturate it a bit (just the background) and I bet the lill kiddo would get more attention

I knew it was soft around the eyes. A shame about that. I'm going to be working on colour for a while*, but still treated as street or documentary work. I'll try to come back more often to dip into this pool of knowledge.

*Working on colour will probably mean something less than 100% of my images as B&W

yup, the eyse are a bit soft, but very cute kid
