Hi guys,

Just wanted to know the following...

I've password protected my galleries..so that my photos can only be viewed when they enter the password.

But now I found out that one of my photos is on livejournal still viewable...only when I click on source they're getting the passwordpage.

How is this possible...??

Cheers

Suzette

Password protection at the gallery level does not prevent direct linking to individual images (though one could argue that it should). If you want to prevent an external site from linking to your image, you should disable external linking in the gallery.

I believe you can do it all at once. Just to to gallery settings for any gallery. Pick "Multiple Galleries" at the top. You can then pick "All Galleries". Then, check the External Linking checkbox and set it to No. Then, hit Save.

Remember that any galleries you link to images from for your site customization need to have external linking ON.
