Double URL?? CNAME Error

I'm having this exact issue, double url name while trying to get the CNAME to work from my host.. the problem is listed in the sticky.. but it doesn't really tell you how to fix it. Help will be greatly appreciated.

Do not use your full domain in the CNAME unless the domain host tells
you to. If you do, you will end up with
www.yourdomain.com.yourdomain.com or something similar.

I'm getting yourdomain.yourdomian.com

If you don't use full name then what do you use?


host uses cpanel..
