iphoto09 and RAW - Help needed

Hi all,
I have been using iPhoto06 with Tiger for the past few years. I recently upgraded to SL and iPhoto09. (I've been using CS2 the entire time)
In the 'old days', I could simply click on the photo in iPhoto and drag it into CS2. It would then open the raw file and away I could go.
Under the 'new regime' when I drag a photo from iPhoto, I don't get the raw file, but the jpeg file, and it is only the 72dpi file!!!
Is there a way to drag the raw file directly into CS2?
Second issue. Under iphoto06, I could go into the directories 'original' etc and find the raw files. There is no 'arrow' on the iPhoto libary directory any more, so this becomes difficult. The only way I can get to the directory containing the raw image, is if I click 'show file' on the iphoto photo:D . I can then, strangely, see the iPhoto sub files containing the photos I want.
Is there a way to make iPhoto09 behave like iPhoto06 and let me see the sub directories straight away, and allow me to drag and drop the raw files?
Thanks for your help.

In the Finder window or Desktop, when you double click a raw camera file - what software is the default for opening the file?
P.S. Try updating iPhoto to the latest version of iPhoto.
Hope this helps,

'alot' is two words "a_______lot":D
Check the "Use RAW when using external editor." It is unchecked by default.
Do you know how to find the sub directories for iPhoto straight from finder?
