I have never seen one up close wally but if i had the chance then i would wait until the sun is behind & showing a silloette (sp?) & crop it in close...just an idea.
Maybe get the blades turning with a very slow shutter to show movement. You would need weakish light though.

Hey Gus, yeah, been wanting some sundown shots for sure, the blades turn pretty slow, but with the right shutter, I'm sure they could be blurred.....that is a really good idea!!!
I saw these things from a distance, but they sure were impressive none the less. Thanks for sharing, Wally and very nice.

Thanks AJ!! I figured you would be posting some shots of them.......then I would have said......"Ah.......that is the shot I should have taken!!!" You have such comp skills, believe me I am looking an trying to learn from you and some others here, I think that is what it is all about!!!
As a matter of fact Dani, I do know! They are owned by a company called Zilkha and the Company that I work for W.F.E.C. buys the power and distributes it to power approx. 22,000 rural homes. W.F.E.C. is a Generation and Transmission Cooperative. We serve 9 electic cooperatives and several municipalities.
